Scott Anderson

Everyone wants to be happy!  Right?  Ask the question, “What are you looking for in life?”  You will get, “Fulfillment of life,”  “Peace,” and “Happiness.”   We will go to great lengths to achieve this “happiness.”  We will search for our happiness in money, material possessions, relationships, achievements, position, and countless other ways.

Scott, by all accounts, should not be happy about his life.  Scott was born with cerebral palsy, and has been in a wheelchair for most of his life.  His home life in his early years wasn’t much better with multiple divorces, domestic violence, suicide and drug use occurring in his home.  Looking back on his life, Scott should have been bitter, angry, disgusted at life, and given up.  But this is not Scott.

Instead of letting his past and present circumstances control his life, Scott has learned to embrace his life and use each of life’s challenges as a springboard to help others.  Through a positive outlook, tenacity, and above all, a deep faith in Jesus, he has overcome a lifetime of barriers to become a dynamic speaker.

Scott uses a unique blend of humor, life experiences, multi-media, and deep insights to guide people to experience a great life despite their circumstances. Scott has spoken all over the United States and in over 25 countries at public schools, churches, conventions, rallies, business meetings, government functions, and even to the Chinese Army in Beijing, China.  Scott has also shared the stage with Hollywood stars such as Cheryl Hines (Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Grand, Henry Pool Was Here), Ron Rifkin (TV’s Alias, Boiler Room, Keeping the Faith), and David Hasselhoff (Knight Rider, Baywatch, America’s Got Talent).

Countries Scott has traveled to: Iceland, England, Ireland, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Italy, France, Canada, Mexico, Belize, Argentina, Chile, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Korea, Taiwan, China, and Cambodia.

Scott travels 30 to 40 weeks a year throughout the U.S. and the world speaking to groups as intimate as five people to arenas holding over 10,000.  One might wonder how being gone so much might effect his new marriage.  According to Sara, “I knew from the moment I met Scott that God used him in a special way to touch people’s lives around the world.  I want what God wants.”  Be assured that Scott and Sara are always looking forward to Scott’s flight home.

What Other's are saying...

“Scott has more talent than anyone on America’s Got Talent!”

David Hasselhoff, Actor

"I have never been moved in so many ways at once.  There were times I was ridiculously laughing, yet moments later in tears as I was humbly led to examine my own heart.  Our students were rapt within moments, captivated by his honesty and loving example. Today's generation needs to witness less frill and entertainment and spend more time with genuine people like Scott."

Dwayne Carson, Dean
Liberty University

"Scott's message touches people-that's the bottom line.  His humor disarms us, his heart unmasks us and then his message of truth does its work.  I've worked with him in hundreds of different contexts in the U.S., Europe and the Third World, and make no mistake about it, this man has something important to say and he says it in a way that you just cannot forget."

David Melton, President,

"Scott doesn't just have a message … he is a message!  He is a gifted communicator, an amazing wit and is living, breathing proof of God's power to help us overcome life's greatest challenges.  Cerebral palsy is usually a handicap.  But in Scott's case, it is merely the canvas on which God is painting something very special."

Bill Rogers, INJOY Ministries

"Scott Anderson was a hit with our ministry here in Covington.  Not only was he an excellent speaker and communicator, he made a point to find out how he could work with what God was already doing here at Trinity.  His message was powerful, we had at least 11 or 12 first time commitments to Christ!  He was funny, exciting and delivered a powerful and relevant message to people who are feeling the pressure of our times.  I received many emails thanking us for having Scott at Trinity.  On a personal note, I got the opportunity to hang out with Scott the three days he was with us and I must say he is as much fun as a person as he is a speaker and communicator.  I would gladly recommend him to anyone.  We will definitely be having him back!  Scott Anderson, in my opinion, is a great asset to your organization, thanks for sharing him with us."
